Crawford, Albert Ray, 67, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 1945, at his home, 315 South Second S., Buckroe Beach. Survived by wife, Mrs. Rosa Crawford, one daughter, two sons, three sisters, four grandchildren. Funeral services at 5 p.m., April 26 at Peninsula funeral home. Burial in Peninsula Memorial Park cemetery. Peninsula funeral home in charge.)

A. R. Crawford, 67, Succumbs

A resident of this vicinity for 50 years, Albert Ray Crawford, 67, died suddenly early yesterday afternoon in his home at 315 South Second St., Buckroe Beach. He was a native of Nebraska.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosa Crawford of Buckroe, one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Carleton of Newport News; two sons, Adrian E. Crawford of Newport News and C. B. Crawford, U.S. Navy; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Miles, Mrs. Myra Miles, and Mrs Edna Diggs, all of Newport News, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Orcutt Ave. Baptist Church. Dr. Herman Stevens, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Joseph R. Robinson, pastor of the Buckroe Beach Baptist Church. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Davis Bulifant, Frank Tilman, Wesley Cofer, Tip Shackleford, R. F. Hall and Henry Lahmeyer.
