MRS. BELLE WALSH, LONG A RESIDENT OF CITY, DEAD

Mrs. Belle Walsh, who died yesterday morning at 8 o’clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Cranston(e), of 210 Thirty-fourth street, will be laid to rest in Greenlawn cemetary tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock. Reverend P. M. Hank will officiate at the funeral services, to be held from the residence.

Mrs. Walsh had been a resident of Newport News for more than 30 years and was well known. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Mahone.

She is survived by seven children: Mrs. A. J. Clarke, Mrs. C. B. Moore, Charles Brooks, Mrs. T. R. Belch, Mrs. L. S. Bigger, S. U. Brooks, and Mrs. R. H. Peake, all of whom live in this city with the exception of Mrs. Peake, who resides in Norfolk; three step children, Mrs. Mary Mutt, W. B. and E. J. Walsh, of City Point.

Active pallbearers will be: R. H. Peake, A. J. Clarke, T. R. Belch, L. S. Bigger, C. B. Moore and G. S. Buchanan.

Honorary pallbearers will be: A. G. Tolker, W. T. Hopkins, Dr. W. R. Aylett, E. B. Land, Lewis MacVicar and T. A. Reynolds.
