Bernard L. Cooper

Gloucester – Bernard Levi Cooper, 48, a construction foreman for the B&G Olson Construction Co., died unexpectedly Monday while working at the Chesapeake Corporation of Virginia at West Point.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lena Robbins Cooper of Glenns; his mother, Mrs. Ruby Kerlin of Bellamy; a sister, Mrs. Aubrey Moore, and a brother, James V. Cooper, both of Bellamy; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home by the Rev. Ernest King and the Rev. Roy Munns.

Burial will be in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
