Mrs. Charles W. Cox dies; rites to be held Tuesday
Mrs. Charles William Cox, 53, East Morrison, died at 1:30 Sunday afternoon in Elizabeth Buxton hospital after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of York County, having moved to East Morrison some months ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Audrey Virginia Cox, East Morrison; and two brothers, L. K. Amory, Seaford, and Charles Amory, Newport News.
Funeral service will be held at 3 Tuesday afternoon at the W. J. Smith funeral home, Morrison, conducted by the Rev. A. J. Renforth, Yorktown, assisted by the Rev. David F. White, pastor of Hilton Baptist Church. Internment will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be J. ? King, Earnest Smith, A. L. Cook, E. T. Joyner, R. T. Riddle, and E? Thomas. Other friends of the family will be honorary pallbearers.
