HAMPTON – Bud L. Wrenn, 78, died Thursday, Jan. 4, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

He was a native of Person, N.C., and a Peninsula resident for many years. He retired from Wythe Cleaners as shop foreman. He was a member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Alligood Wrenn; two daughters, Jane Wrenn Honeycutt of Orlando, Fla., and Carolyn Wrenn Lampert of Riverside, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Bobbie E. Griffin of Richmond; one son, Bud L. Wrenn Jr. of Riverside; two sisters, Anna Helon Guthrie and Maude Wrenn Bigger, and two brothers, Clyde Harris Wrenn and Jack H. Wrenn, all of Danville; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
