Burlie Clark

Burlie Clark, 70, 433 Homestead Ave., Hampton, died Sunday in Hampton General Hospital.

A native of Waverly, he had been a Peninsula resident 38 years. He retired in 1974 as a pipefitter with Newport News Shipbuilding, and later worked in the maintenance department at Hampton General Hospital. He was a member of Elam Baptist Church at Waverly.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Perkins, Mrs. Jackie Keefe, Mrs. Mildred Edwards and Mrs. Burline Cosper, all of Hampton; three brothers, Floyd and Wilson Clark, both of Hampton, and Bernard Clark of Newport News; and 11 grandchildren.

Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home is in charge.
