Mrs. W. H. Winder

Mrs. Cecy Viola Winder, a Negro, 501 Center Ave., Warwick, died unexpectedly at home yesterday morning.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, the missionary circle of the church and was chairman of the usher board. She also was a member of Early Rose Chapter 5 of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Warner H. Winder; four daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Gayle of Manticoke, MD, Mrs. Ada Thomas of New York City, Miss Sarah Winder and Mrs. Gertrude Hudson, both of Warwick; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth DaShields of Philadelphia, a sister, Mrs. Olivia Holland of Philadelphia; two brothers, Otis DaShields and Samuel DaShields, both of New York City; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday at Emmanuel Baptist Church by the Rev. A. P. Godwin, pastor. Burial in First Baptist Church Cemetery at Denbigh.
