Mrs. Carson

Mrs. Charlotte Hall Carson, 89, of Yorktown, died Saturday in Williamsburg Community Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Carson, a native of Belfast, Ireland, had been a Peninsula resident for the past 45 years. She was a member of the Yorkminster Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth C. Murphie of Yorktown and Mrs. James Timoney of Packanek Lake, NJ; two sons, Fredrick H, Carson of Levittown, NY and Harry Carson of New York City; and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Hall Carson, 89, of Yorktown, who died Saturday in Williamsburg Community Hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Riverside Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Claude Barclay, pastor of Yorktown Baptist Church, will officiate, with William O. Miller assisting.

Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dale, David Fryer, Arnold Lewis, John Mitchell, Joe D. Snyder Jr., and William J. Paschall.

The family will be at the John Mitchell residence, 10 White Oak Drive, Newport News.
