Funeral services for Mrs. William A. Rudasill, who took her own life in the home of her brother, L. B. Mahone, 821 Twenty-fourth Street, here Sunday, were held yesterday at 2:30 P.M. from the Presbyterian Church at Rapidan, Va. Interment was made in the family burial ground.

Mrs. Rudasill was formerly Miss Clara V. Mahone, of this city, and had been visiting her sister and brother here for the past three weeks.

Through despondency caused by ill health she took her life, members of the family said. A shot from a .38 calibre revolver was instantly fatal.

Before her visit to Newport News, she had been a patient at the DeJarnette Sanitorium at Staunton.

She is survived by her husband and three children, all of Rapidan; a brother, L. B. Mahone, of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. F. N. Nelson, Mrs. John F. Bray and Miss Eva B. Mahone, all of New York.

Her sisters accompanied the body to Rapidan for burial.
