CLARENCE CHARNICK

HAMPTON – Clarence Charnick, 88, died Monday, Feb. 19, in Eastern State Hospital, James City County.

Mr. Charnick was a native of Hampton and a Peninsula resident since 1968. He was a self-employed painter.

Survivors include a brother, Elmer Charnick Sr. of Hampton.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Oakland Cemetery by the Rev. G. Thornton Hall.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home and other times at the home, 229 W. Chamberlin Ave., Hampton.
