Clarence Creech Sr.

Clarence Duvall Creech Sr., 67, of 225 Warwick Rd., Warwick, died at 2 PM yesterday at his home after an extended illness.

A native of Smithfield, NC, he had been a resident of Warwick for the past 43 years. He was a member of the Warwick First Methodist Church and the Men’s Bible Class there. Until the time of his illness some 2 1/2 years ago, he had been an employee of Hofheimer’s Shoe Store.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Jarvis Creech of Warwick; three sons, C. D. Creech Jr., Edwin Carroll Creech and Paige Turner Creech, all of Warwick; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Gough of Warwick and Mrs. Lucille Girton of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Russell Creech and David Creech, both of Philadelphia; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM tomorrow at the Warwick First Methodist Church. The Rev. A. B. Clarke, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Peninsula Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Robert W. Wiseman, L. C. Thomas, John W. Snead, Thomas Wilcox, M. B. Brooks, Philip F. Ware, C. L. Darnley and Rex Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be other friends of the family.
