Earl Cyphers

Williamsburg – Earl L. Cyphers, 71, Indigo Dam Road, died Thursday after a long illness.

A native of Gary, W. Va., he had been a Williamsburg resident for 12 years. He was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 141, AF&AM, 141, Berwinds, W. Va.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel M. Cyphers; a daughter, Mrs. W. H. Sword of Newport News; a brother, Roby Cyphers of Fredricksburg, Tex.; three sisters, Delphia Cyphers of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. H. A. Reynolds of Roanoke and Mrs. Carl Badger of Peach Bottom, Pa.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Garrison Funeral Home is in charge.

Williamsburg – A funeral service for Earl L. Cyphers of Williamsburg, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 2pm Sunday in Garrison Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Haywood of Walnut Hills Baptist Church and the Rev. Nelson Odom of Faith House. Burial will be in Williamsburg Memorial Park.

Williamsburg – A funeral service for Earl L. Cyphers will be conducted in Garrison Funeral Home at 2pm today by the Rev. Jerry Haywood of Walnut Hills Baptist Church and the Rev. Nelson Odom of Faith House. Burial will be in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
