EDITH W. COUNCILL
HAMPTON – Edith Wyatt Councill died Thursday, June 21, in Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News.
A native of Fox Hill, Mrs. Councill was a lifelong Peninsula resident. She was a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah C. Andrus; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home by the Rev. Henry Sudduth. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight in the funeral home.
