ELIZABETH M. WINDER

HAMPTON – Elizabeth Marie Winder, 64, died Thursday, March 22, in Williamsburg.

A native of Newport News, Mrs. Winder was a lifelong Peninsula resident. She retired from cafeteria work in the Hampton school system. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Winder; a son, W.G. McCoy of Raleigh, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Addie Smith of Newport News; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by Dr. Aubrey J. Rosser. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at 3616 Matoaka Road, Hampton.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Peninsula Agency on Aging Meals on Wheels, 874-2495.
