FLOSSIE COLEMAN

HAMPTON – Flossie T. Coleman, 50, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Tuesday, May 4.

She was a member of Third Baptist Church.

Survived by a daughter, Anglean Brooks of Hampton; two sons, Milton Miles of Hempstead, N.Y., and Keary Miles of Hampton; five sisters, Lola Rutledge and Arlene Greene of Brooklyn, Portia Rogers of Hampton, Josephine Johnson of Miami and Gloria A. Hood of Clayton, N.C.; four brothers, Charles Hopkins Jr., Harry Hopkins and James Coleman of Brooklyn and Joseph Coleman of Anchorage, Alaska; and two grandchildren.

Viewing from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Gilmore’s Funeral Home. Funeral 3 p.m. Saturday at Third Baptist Church by the Rev. James Brooks. Body placed in church by 1 p.m. Assemble at 3808 Victoria Blvd. by 2 p.m. Burial in Oakland Cemetery.
