FRANCES H. CROCKETT

HAMPTON – Frances Hollingsworth Crockett, 63, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

Ms. Crockett was a native of Fayette, Ala., and a Peninsula resident for many years. She was employed by Maida Development Co. as an assembly line worker. She was a member of Langley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ruth Wheeler and Ester Ryan, and four sons, Ray Waldon, Ernest Waldon, Luther Lee Crockett and Thomas H. Crockett, all of Hampton; two sisters, Ruby Beck of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Veranell Moses of Dallas; three brothers, J.C. Hollingsworth of Northport, Ala., and Euil Hollingsworth and Lonnie Gay Hollingsworth, both of Tuscaloosa; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul W. Huber. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
