FRANK W. VENEY

HAMPTON – Mr. Frank W. Veney died Monday, July 24, 1995.

A native and lifelong Hampton resident, he retired as an engineer/technician from NASA in 1986 after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary K. Veney; three daughters, Louvenia V. Shearrin, Amber Veney and Carrie D. Veney, all of Hampton; three sons, Frank Veney Jr., Thomas A. Veney and Tyrone D. Veney, all of Hampton; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Veney of Hampton and Purcell Veney of Westover, Md.; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ by Elder J.C. Fuller. Interment in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Veney will be placed in church by 9 a.m. Saturday. Assemble at 1203 N. Mallory St. by 10 a.m. Saturday. Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home.
