George A. Olvis

George A. Olvis, a Negro, of 3012 Orcutt Avenue, Newport News, died Wednesday at Mary immaculate Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emily Olvis of Newport News, and three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Rawls and Mrs. Mattie Freeman, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Lue Potter of Williamsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon at First Baptist Church, Jefferson Avenue, with the Rev. John Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at 130 this afternoon in First Baptist Church, Jefferson Avenue, with the Rev. Mack I. Samuels, officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery.
