Mrs. Walker

Mrs. Gladys Gayle Walker, 75, 1741 W. Queen Street, Hampton, died Monday in Riverside Hospital.

A native of Chuckatuck, she had been a Peninsula resident for the past 50 years. She was a member of Parkview Baptist church and Winsom Bible Class.

Survivors include her husband, J. T. Walker; one daughter, Mrs. Clarice M. Joyner of Newport News; three sons, Joseph D. Walker and George A. Walker, both of Newport News, and J. T. Walker Jr. of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Lucille G. Cone of Madison County; one brother, Hobson Gayle of Hampton; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 pm today in Peninsula Funeral Home by the Rev. V. Allen Gaines and the Rev. Henry G. Reynolds.

Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.
