Ida Clarke
Ida Mae Clarke, a Negro, of 2208 Warwick Ave., Newport News, died Sunday in Mary Immaculate hospital after a brief illness.
Surviving are a son, Robert Alexander; a daughter, Mrs. Connie Cherry; her mother, Mrs. Kate Clarke; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Burrest; and three brothers, Weyman Clarke, Leroy Clarke and James Clarke, all of Newport News.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 this afternoon in Holly Grove Cemetery with the Rev. W. M. Brown officiating.
The family and friends will meet at three this afternoon at 1112 – 30th St.
