Mrs. Ida W. Cooke

Mrs. Ida Williamson Cooke, a Negro, of 2211 Marshall Ave., Newport News, died early yesterday in Whittaker Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Members of Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church, she was a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Luvenia Williamson. She was a native of Ivor, Southampton County.

Survivors include her husband, William R. Cooke; three sisters, Mrs. H. C. Young of Norfolk, Mrs. William H. Cole of Durham, NC, and Mrs. Russell Knox of Jarretta, and four brothers, Samuel Williamson, Butler Williamson and Walter Williamson of Norfolk and Norwood Williamson of New York City.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Ida Cooke

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida W. Cooke, a Negro, of 2211 Marshall Ave., Newport News, who died Tuesday in Whittaker Memorial Hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2:30 pm today in Carver Memorial Presbyterian Church by the Rev. L. J Metz Rollins, pastor. Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery.
