John W. Watson, of Hampton, dies
John William Watson, 75, a life-long resident of Hampton, died at 8:45 last night at the Riverside Hospital after a week’s illness.
Mr. Watson is survived by two sons, R. W. Watson, of Hampton, and W. M. Watson, of Jeffs; one daughter, Mrs. E. R. Charlton, of Hinton, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Johnson and Mrs. Rosa Wallace, of Fox Hill; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.

Watson funeral 2 o’clock today
Funeral services for John William Watson, 75, of Hampton, who died at the Riverside Hospital Thursday night, will be conducted at 2 o’clock this afternoon from his residence near the car barn. Interment will be in the Fox Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be N. F. Stall, C. R. Robinson, David Becker, Jesse Wallace, Alfred Johnson, and Edward Watson; honorary: W. T. Abdell, George Melson, Tyler Mason, John Drummond, Jr., B. J.
