Death of Mr. Williams
Mr. John H. Williams, a well-known resident of this city, died last evening at 8 o’clock, at his home, 115 Twenty-ninth street, in the fifty-seventh year of his age. Deceased was a native of Manchester, but had lived here for the past seven or eight years, the major portion of the time being spent as a ship carpenter at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company’s plant. A widow and one daughter survive him.
The funeral will be from the house at 3 pm today, and will be under the auspices of the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. The remains will be interred in Greenlawn Cemetery.
