JULIAN E. CASH

HAMPTON – Julian Erby Cash, 84, died Sunday, May 12, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

A native of Nelson County, Mr. Cash had been a Peninsula resident for 48 years.

He retired as a pipe fitter from Newport News Shipbuilding in 1971 after 31 years of service. Mr. Cash was a member of Hampton Roads Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lacy E. Campbell Cash; three daughters, Irene C. Shipp of Norfolk, Barbara A. Bradshaw of Newport News, and Mary H. Melton of Union, W.Va.; two sons, William E. Cash of Hampton and Harry F. Cash of Newport News; two sisters, Nannie Bartley of Fairfield and Lottie Campbell of Madison Heights; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Rev. J.B. Flowers. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
