L. O. Corbin, Jr.

Funeral services for Leonard O. Corbin Jr., a Negro, 33, who died Thursday night at his home on Franktown Road, will be held at 3 tomorrow afternoon at Antioch Baptist Church, Hampton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. J. Dett Marshburn, pastor, will officiate.

The body will be at the Smith Brothers Funeral Home until the time of the funeral.

He is survived by his estranged wife, Mrs. Nancy Corbin, and two children, all of Ahoskie, NC; his father and mother, Mr and Mrs Leonard O Corbin; a brother, William A. Corbin of Hampton, and an uncle and four aunts.

Acquaintances of the man told police he had been despondent about two weeks. He was employed by the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. as a riveter. A verdict of suicide by shooting himself was given.
