Mrs. Lucretia Cunningham passes away suddenly
Retires at her usual hour last night in good health, but dies in few hours

Hampton, VA, March 11 – Mrs. Lucretia Cunningham, 76 years old, died at 1:30 o’clock this morning at her home in King Street, where she has conducted a boarding house for the last 25 years.
Mrs. Cunningham retired last night about 9 o’clock enjoying her usual good health, but about 1 o’clock this morning was taken seriously ill and died at 1:30 o’clock, shortly after Dr. McAllister arrived from heart trouble.
Six children survive her – Messrs. Joseph, Fred and Jesse, and Misses Lulu and Annie, of Hampton, and Captain Thomas Cunningham, of Amherst county. No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral.
Mrs. Cunningham was one of the oldest members of the Methodist Church.
