Mrs. Mallie Calloway
Mrs. Mallie Calloway, formerly of Newport News, daughter of Mrs. Kizzie McIntyre of Newport News, died Tuesday, May 28, in Pacoima, Calif., after a brief illness.
She was a member of the Fountain Baptist Church.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Marpel of Pacoima; one son, Walter Pollard of Norfolk; six sisters, Mrs. Austina Jefferson, Mrs. Gertrude Blizzard, Mrs. Ruby McDowell and Mrs. Edith Wallace of Hampton, Mrs. Sadie Turner of Brooklyn, NY, and Mrs. Alice Bingham of Detroit, Mich.; seven brothers, Eugene McIntyre of Hampton, George McIntyre of Newport News, Dewitt McIntyre of Baltimore, MD, Robert McIntyre of California, Grover McIntyre, Sterlin McIntyre and Jerome McIntyre of Chester, PA; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1pm Wednesday in the Fountain Baptist Church by the Rev. J. W. Clemons.
Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery.
The family and friends will meet at 1103 Lodi Circle, Hampton, Wednesday at noon.

A funeral service for Mrs. Mallie Calloway, formerly of Newport News, daughter of Mrs. Kizzie McIntyre of Newport News, who died Tuesday, May 28, in Pacoima, Calif., will be conducted at 1pm today in the Fountain Baptist Church by the Rev. J. W. Clemons.
Burial will be in Pleasant Shade Cemetery.
The family and friends will meet at 1103 Lodi Circle, Hampton, at noon today.
