Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Curtis, 42, who died Wednesday afternoon at her home at 1304 Venable Avenue after an illness of three months, will be conducted tomorrow at 9 a.m. from St. Vincent’s Roman Catholic Church by the Reverend Father James J. Widmer, assistant pastor, with burial later in Greenlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Curtis, who has been a resident of the community for 30 years, leaves her husband, S. B. Curtis and six sons: Alex S., James Oliver, Vernon Donald, Raymond Kennedy, Harold Vincent and Earl Stanley Curtis.

Active pallbearers will be W. J. Maloney, B. M. Little, E. W. Covington, Harry Whitley, Frank Hutchison and C. C. Sibley. Other friends of the family will serve as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers will meet at the residence at 8:15 a.m. Saturday to accompany the body to the church.
