VIRGINIA L. WALLACE

Mary Virginia Little Wallace, 96, widow of John G. Wallace Sr., of 1180 Haywood Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000.

Born in Craig Healing Springs, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Virginia Bickers Little.

She was a housewife and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Salem, Va., chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Louisa, Va., chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy.

Surviving are a son, John G. Wallace Jr., and his wife, Sally, of Greenville; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Wallace Snow of Atlanta, Ga., Bill Wallace of Greenville, and John G. Wallace III of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Horne officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday in St. Johns Episcopal Church Cemetery, Hampton, Va.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Carlton Little, Robert Leonard Little and Francis Little.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church Music Fund, 7 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC 29615.
