MARY F. WALLACE

HAMPTON – Mary Firth Wallace, 62, a native of Poquoson and a Peninsula resident for 45 years, died Saturday, Nov. 27.

A graduate of Poquoson High School, Mrs. Wallace was a member of Fox Hill United Methodist Church, its Lucy Todd Circle and Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fox Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

Survived by her husband, J. Irvin Wallace; a daughter, Betty W. Evans of Hampton; a son, Peter A. Wallace of Hampton; a brother, James A. Firth of Poquoson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. George T. Insley Jr. Visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. Burial in Clark Cemetery.
