Mrs. Carmines

Mrs. Nora Lee Carmines, 68, of 274 Chapel St., Hampton, died early yesterday morning in Dixie Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon at Central Methodist Church, Hampton, with the Rev. Jack W. Cunningham, retired Christian minister, officiating, assisted by the Rev. W. D. Williams of Trinity Methodist Church, Messick.

Burial will be in Western Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Edward Bradshaw, Vance Quinn, Leon Boyd, Elwood Martin, Melvin Forrest and Sterling Forrest. Honorary pallbearers will be other friends of the family.

Mrs. Carmines, daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mary Pal Gibbs of York County where she was born, had lived in Hampton 31 years. She was a member of the Central Methodist church and the Woman’s Bible Class of the church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. C. R. Mitcheltree and Mrs. R. V. Henley, both of Hampton; two sons, William P. Carmines and John M. Carmines, both of Hampton; one sister, Mrs. Mary M. Forrest; five half-brothers and one half-sister, all of Messick.
