OLIVIA CAMPBELL
YORKTOWN – Olivia Campbell, 83, answered the Master’s call peacefully in Regency Health Care Center. She was a native of Lawrenceville, Va., and the wife of the late Henry Campbell Sr. She was a longtime resident of the area and a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Yorktown. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her loving and precious memories will always remain in the hearts of her daughter, Gloria Muse of Yorktown; her sons, Henry Campbell Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Yorktown, Bobby Campbell and his wife, Janice, of Hampton, and Haywood Vinson and his wife, Violet, of Baltimore, Md.; a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service, celebrating the life she lived, will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, in Shiloh Baptist Church, Yorktown, with the Rev. Barbara Lemon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble by noon on Friday at 106 Walnut Drive. Mrs. Campbell may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home and in the church on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. until the hour of the service.
