P. CHARLES CASCIANO
HAMPTON – P. Charles Casciano, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A native of Germantown, Pa., Mr. Casciano was a Peninsula resident for 45 years. He retired as an organizational analyst from Fort Monroe in 1972 after 31 years. A World War II veteran, he retired from the Army Reserves in 1978.
Mr. Casciano was a member of Phoebus United Methodist Church. He was adjutant of American Legion Post 48 in Hampton and a member of the Reserve Officers’ Association.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bond Casciano; two daughters, Christine M. Casciano of Poquoson and Mary Elizabeth Casciano of Hampton; one son, John Charles Casciano of Gloucester; one sister, Josephine C. Morano of Norristown, Pa.; and one brother, Romolo Casciano of Hatfield, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Phoebus United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jeffrey A. Witt. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association or Phoebus United Methodist Church air-conditioning fund.
