WILLIAMSBURG – A graveside service for Phyllis Whipple Carr, 57, who died Sunday, Dec. 31, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Jerry Haywood.
Survivors include her husband, John R. Carr Jr., three daughters, Rinda A. Crockett of Hampton, Sharon D. Carr and Stephanie H. Carr, both of Williamsburg; two stepsons, David H. Carr of Pennsylvania and Thomas E. Carr of Newport News; four brothers, Lloyd Whipple, Daniel Whipple and Douglas Willard Whipple, all of Hampton, and John R. Whipple of Williamsburg; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton.
