Raymond Calvin Wallace Sr., 81, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001.

A native and lifelong resident of Fox Hill, Mr. Wallace was a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church. He had served in the Army Air Force during World War II, stationed in the Aleutian Islands, and worked many years for Newport News Shipbuilding before retiring in 1976.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Beulah Horton Wallace, and his son, Raymond Calvin Wallace Jr. of Hampton.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Robert Sharp, with interment to follow in Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends this afternoon at its home in Fox Hill.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the Clark Cemetery Fund, care of Delbert Ligon, 20 Horton Road, Hampton, VA 23664.

Arrangements are by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
