Mrs. Rosa L. Cox rites Wednesday

Funeral rites for Mrs. Rosa Lee Cox, pioneer resident of this city and a native of York County, who died suddenly Sunday night at her home, 4 Cedar Ave., will be held at 3 Wednesday afternoon from Caffee and Son Funeral Home, 3101 West Ave.

The Rev. Herman T. Stevens, D. D., pastor of Orcutt Ave. Baptist Church, will officiate and will be assisted by the Rev. Arnold L. Taylor, acting pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. The body will rest at the funeral home until time of service. Burial will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Surviving her are two sons, Luther T. Cox of Newport News and Clinton E. Cox of Hampton; three sisters, Mrs. F. T. Burcher and Mrs. R. D. Baker, Newport News and Mrs. Edward Carmines of Seaford; three brothers, John D. DeAlba, Newport News; Thomas and James S. DeAlba, of Seaford, in addition to several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Fred P. Burcher, Harry DeAlba, Morris DeAlba, G. A. Callis, Clinton DeAlba.
