HAMPTON – Ruby Nette Cooper, 41, died Sunday, Oct. 29, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.
Mrs. Cooper, a native of Hampton, was employed by Lawson Seafood Company, Hampton, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Hampton.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Cooper Sr.; two daughters, Babara M. Campbell of Newport News and Jeanette A. Cooper; her mother, Katherine Harris; a sister, Idell Harris; and a brother, John Harris, all of Hampton.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, Hampton, by the Rev. Edward D. McCreary. The body will be placed in the church by noon. Burial will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens. The family will assemble at 28 Monroe Drive by noon.
The body may be viewed from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home.
