Norfolk citizen dead
Rudolph S. Cohn too weak to stand operation
Norfolk, July 5 – Rudolph S. Cohn, one of Norfolk’s leading citizens and business men died at 4 o’clock this morning at his home No. 27 Botetourt Street, from appendicitis and paresis.
A weak heart prevented an operation and though everything known to human skill was done to save him, all was without avail and Mr. Cohn passed away peacefully, surrounded by all members of his family with the exception of one married daughter who is now hastening to Norfolk from her home in Illinois.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Cohn home tomorrow evening at 6 o’clock and the remains will be sent early Wednesday morning to the deceased’s old home in Princess Anne, MD for burial.
