SIDNEY J. WATLET

HAMPTON – Sidney Jules Watlet, 45, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, in his home.

Mr. Watlet was employed as a truck driver for Keener’s Auto Parts, Tabb. He served in the Army.

A native of Joffre, Pa., Mr. Watlet had been a Peninsula resident for 35 years. He was a Protestant.

Survivors include his wife, Sara S. Watlet; a daughter, Angie Graves of Newport News; two sons, Malcolm K. Tatum and Allen L. Tatum of Atlanta; his mother, Margaret L. Watlet of Hampton; two sisters, Peggy W. Bean of Newport News and Cynthia W. Pritt of Hampton; three brothers, Albert V. Watlet Jr. of Newport News, Stanley C. Watlet of Hampton and Ricky G. Watlet of Huntsville, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Michael H. Edwards.
