Many Attend Funeral of Thomas B. Congdon
Funeral services for the late Thomas B. Congdon, widely known druggist, who died suddenly Saturday evening, were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock from his late residence in Linden Avenue. A large number of the friends of the deceased attended the services. The Rev. John H. Garber, pastor of the Hampton Baptist Church, was assisted in the services by the Rev. R. J. MacKay, pastor of the Memorial Baptist Church. Interment was made in St. John’s Cemetery.
The floral tributes were many and handsome.
Mr. Congdon had conducted the drug business her for about 25 years and was prominent in business circles, as well as popular with a large circle of friends over the lower Peninsula.
