U. W. Oakley dies at his home here

U. W. Oakley, aged 50 years, died at 12 o’clock last night at his home, 638 Thirty-first street, after an illness of a year. He had been a resident of this city for the past twenty years. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.

Mr. Oakley is survived by his wife and the following children: Robert, John B., James J., and Miss Mary E. Oakley.

Funeral services for U. W. Oakley, who died at his home, 638 Thirty-third street, Saturday night, will be conducted at 9:30 o’clock Wednesday morning from St. Vincent’s Catholic church with requiem high mass. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery. Pallbearers will be L. D. Hamilton, Walter Ashbars, F. M. Atkins, F. P. Chandler, C. J. Pulicher and J. Tanner.
