Mrs. Virginia Warren Dadds Cullop, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2008, at Regency Healthcare Center in Grafton, after an extended illness.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., on March 7, 1920, and grew up in Yorktown, the daughter of Amos and Annie Marshall (deNeufville) Dadds. She graduated from Morrison High School in Newport News, and Beebe School of Nursing in Lewes, Del. She was a nurse with the Veterans Administration and retired after many years of service.

Mrs. Cullop attended Christ the King Episcopal Church, Tabb, where she was a member of The Order of the Daughters of the King. She was also a member and Past Worthy Matron of York Chapter # 110, order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two cousins, Bruce Cobb and his wife, Eva of Seaford, and Nancy Alfriend and her husband, John of Charlestown, W.Va.; and by several nieces.

An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, followed by visitation until 8 p.m. A Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery in Yorktown, by the Rev. Richard W. Budd of Christ the King Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Episcopal Church, 4109 Big Bethel Road, Tabb, VA 23693, or the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd. Suite A-102, Newport News, VA 23606.
