HAMPTON – Weymouth Phillips Woodley, 72, died Thursday, Nov. 29, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

She was a Hampton native and lifelong Peninsula resident. Mrs. Woodley was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fox Hill.

Survivors include her husband, M. Tyler Woodley Sr.; four daughters, Carolyn W. Bunch, Mary J. “”Janie” Woodley and Kay W. Willis of Hampton and Barbara W. Ellis of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sons, M. Tyler Woodley Jr. of Hampton and George C. Woodley of Sunnyvale, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Clark Cemetery by the Rev. G. Wayne Parsley.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Clark Cemetery Fund, c/o Delbert Legon, 20 Horton Road, Hampton 23664.
