William Thomas Cooke, 73, of Denbigh, died about 3 yesterday morning in his home after a lenghthy illness.

He was a member of Denbigh Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Cooke and Aubrey Cooke, both of Newport News; four grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. W. M. Lynch and Mrs. W. H. Nacke, both of Warwick, and Mrs. C. B. Edwards, of Newport News.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 Friday afternoon in Denbigh Baptist Church by the Rev. George B. Fletcher, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, assisted by John Millar III. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be T. O. Y. Watson, J. T. Rowe, Wayne Mason, J. P. DeGinder, Luman H. Yoder and J. S. Goalder. Other friends of the family will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The body will be taken to the church at 1 Friday afternoon.
