WILLIAM N. CURRY
HAMPTON – William Newton Curry, 76, died Monday, Nov. 19, at Sentara Hampton General Hospital.
Mr. Curry, a Richmond native, had been a Peninsula resident for many years. He had been a civil service worker at Langley Air Force Base, where he retired as a civil engineer in 1978 after 30 years’ service.
He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Hunter Curry of Williamsburg and Stuart Wise Curry of Hampton; two sisters, Margaret Worsham and Elinor Curry, both of Richmond; and a grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery by the Rev. Rodney L. Caulkins.
