W. J. Walker

Gloucester – William Jefferson Walker, 77, of Route 2, died Saturday in his home after a long illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester County, a retired farmer and a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emily Walker; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Leigh; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine W. Lemon, all of Gloucester; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3pm Monday in Andrews-Faulkner Funeral Home, Gloucester, by the Rev. Randolph Rilee, the Rev. P. E. Brewer and the Rev. Robert Tattisall.

Burial will be in Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight in the funeral home.
