MARGARET D. COUNCIL
Ms. Margaret D. Council, 60, departed this life on May 23, 2004. She was a native of York County. She retired from Fort Eustis after 21 years of service. She was also a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Ms. Council leaves to cherish her memory one son, Kerry Sylvester Council of Wayne, Pa., and two brothers, Gene E. Council and Charles A. Council of Yorktown, Va.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at New Bethel Baptist Church by the Rev. Ernest Chambliss. Ms. Council will be placed in the church by 11 a.m. and viewed until the hour of the service. Family and friends will assemble at 417 Yorktown Road by noon. Viewing for Ms. Council will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral Home.
