MARGARET E. SATTERFIELD

NEWPORT NEWS – Margaret Elizabeth Satterfield, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Mary Immaculate Hospital.

Mrs. Satterfield, a native of Gloucester, had been a Peninsula resident for 55 years.

She had retired as a nurse at NASA Langley. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Judith S. Hodges of Newport News; four brothers, Richard W. Teagle and Ellis W. Teagle of Newport News, Fred L. Teagle Sr. of Virginia Beach and Raymond D. Teagle of Williamsburg; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Peninsula Funeral Home by the Rev. Roy L. Miller. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 in Peninsula Funeral Home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Morrison United Methodist Church, Newport News.
