ALLEN S. CONN
NEWPORT NEWS – Allen S. Conn, 86, died suddenly Thursday, December 21, 1995, in Newport News, Va. Mr. Conn had been a lifelong resident of Newport News.
Mr. Conn was a vice president of finance of Basic Construction Company and retired in 1976. He was a graduate of Newport News High School and the University of Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy (Dobbye) Conn; two daughters, Frona Greenspun of Owings Mills, Md. and Betty Kornblum of Monmouth Junction, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Michael Greenspun and Carol Loitman, Minna Greenspun, Jeffrey and Sandra Kornblum, David and Nicole Kornblum; and two sons-in-law, Gordon Greenspun and Stanley Kornblum.
The funeral will be held at Rodef Sholom Temple, 318 Whealton Road, Hampton, at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995. Burial will follow in Rosenbaum Memorial Park.
The family will be in mourning at 7505 River Road, Apt. 6-E, Newport News, Va.
