PORTSMOUTH – Shirley Nachman Coin, 57, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
Survivors include her husband, Irvin Coin; one daughter, Nancy Coin Unger of Norfolk; one son, Dr. Richard Coin of St. Louis; one brother, Melvin Nachman of Newport News; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hebrew Cemetery, Hampton, by Rabbi Stuart Altshuler. The family will receive friends at 5016 Lake Circle, Portsmouth.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to a favorite charity.
